Psychological safety is a guiding principle for everything we do at Howamigoing.
If people don't feel psychologically safe, they won't feel comfortable in being honest. This reduces the quality of the feedback you receive and the quality of the conversation thereafter.
By getting feedback more 2 or more people, we can provide an element of psychological safety with anonymity - removing names from comments and ratings.
There's nothing to worry about here - people can't give you unsolicited anonymous feedback. That rarely ends well!
Private feedback is putting the power in your hands, letting you choose who you want feedback from and when. Making the feedback (almost) anonymous means that the people you do ask can respond in confidence which gives you a clearer picture of where you stand.
